This story takes after a youthful Kashmiri kid Noor, his dream Firdaus and a fluctuating Begum, through affection lost and acknowledged throughout two eras. Thirteen-year-old Noor, a susceptible shikara kid living by the docks of Kashmir's Dal Lake, is attracted into the universe of the Begum - the wealthiest lady around the local area. Youthful Noor experiences passionate feelings for the Begum's little girl, Firdaus - an excellent tyke who has been raised to break hearts. Experiencing a broken heart herself, the Begum discovers her imprint in Noor. Noor starts to fixate on Firdaus, somebody who fits in with a world totally unique in relation to his. Seasons change and Noor leaves the place where he grew up to move to the city of Delhi to assemble his profession as a craftsman. He endeavors to be acknowledged into the modern social circles that Firdaus is a part of in a mission to win her adoration, while the Begum plots reprisal on their young and honest affection.
